The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents approved on June 4th, 2026 a tuition and segregated fee increase to undergraduate students at most Universities of Wisconsin schools, including UW–Madison, for the 2026-27 academic year. At UW–Madison, Wisconsin resident undergraduate tuition will increase by 2% while nonresident undergraduate tuition will increase by 4%. Graduate student tuition rates will remain unchanged. The Board of Regents also approved a 2.4% increase in the segregated fee rate, for the 2026-27 academic year.
